911 RS Series Case Numbers
There they are, 911 RS case serial numbers

All that is required to install the turbo oil pump on the 2.7/2.8 case is cutting some meat out of the main journal where the oil pump tab hits.
The case needs to have a little notch cut out at the main journal to accomodate the turbo oil pump

Freshly machined cylinder heads have had new valve guides and seals installed. Seats and valves ground, cylinder mating surface machined.

The left side tensioner oil line is connected to a modified fitting (at the case - not visible) to accomodate the twin plug distributor.

The side engine tins were modified for the twin plug ignition cables. A whole is cut, then ground to oval in order to fit new gromet.

These were in good shape, but they had plenty of road grime on them

The previous owner took a stock 911 muffler and modified it to resemble the RS muffler with 2 exhaust pipes.
Alternator vent was cleaned and rust was wire brushed off
The pop rivets were loose so they were replaced.

The customer had 2 sets of wheels to choose from, BBS (left) and Factory Fuchs RSR Alloys 9"s and 11"s

The engine assembled and ready for mounting to transmission and installation into car.
The original differential was replaced with an 60/40 factory LSD (Limited Slip Differential). LSD is on left side.

Here are some very cool Recaro seats in excellent condition. They were vacuumed and brushed for re-installation.
The floorpan had some of the undercoating removed and had mild damage.
The damaged areas were wire bushed clean and were covered with insulating material
Interior removed, hand brake and levers removed. New heater cable installed, new hand throttle plastic linkage installed.
An RS carpet kit was installed. Here, the snaps are being put into place on the center piece that goes over the hand brake

The original oil tank bracket was broken so a replacement was fashioned from stock.
