• Provide you with itemized list and cost of parts recommended for replacement

• Re-assemble engine with customer approved parts

• Adjust camshaft timing to factory specification

• Re-install engine in vehicle

• Adjust and test drive vehicle

• Deliver to customer

The rebuild process takes approximately 2-3 weeks for a standard overhaul provided there are no delays in acquiring parts. Porshaw supplies new and used parts at highly competitive rates and is eager to earn your business. We also offer custom and performance engine modifications at an additional cost. Troubleshooting fuel injection, electrical and ignition problems is not included in the rebuild price.

Parts commonly replaced when rebuilding a Porsche engine:

• Engine Gaskets and Seals

• Pistons, Cylinders and Rings

• Bearings: Mainshaft, Connecting Rod, Intermediate Shaft

• Spark Plugs

• Clutch Disc, Pressure Plate, Throw-out Bearing

• Chain Tensioners (update early non-oil fed tensioners)

• Filters (oil, fuel, air)

Labor rate is $120 per hour for troubleshooting and additional repairs. 
993, 996 and 997 engine rebuilding available at additional cost.
